What the work is worth. Every analysis and every application inherits the shape of the data underneath it. Architects decide whether an organization can answer questions it has not asked yet.
An ordinary day. Design how data is structured and flows across systems, choose technologies, model the data, and set standards that other engineers build on.
The path in. Bachelor's in computer science; often several years as an administrator or developer first.
From zero. The STEM Farm Data / Analytics / AI Operations track starts at zero-STEM intake and ends in this kind of work, with verified proof at every gate.

STEM fields assessment for extroverts. An assessment is only as good as what it measures: activities you would enjoy, your working style, fifteen traits, thirty real situations, and where you want your work to land. Eight STEM fields, eight trait signatures. The assessment scores you on all fifteen traits and shows which fields are already yours before you commit to a major or a program. Nursing, physician assistant, systems analysis, industrial engineering and epidemiology run on communication and collaboration; if people energize you, they surface.
