What the work is worth. Weather satellites, air ambulances, and the rockets that carry science into orbit exist because aerospace engineers made them fly safely.
An ordinary day. Design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, and missiles; run simulations and tests; analyze failures; work inside large multi-discipline teams on long programs.
The path in. Bachelor's in aerospace or mechanical engineering; security clearance often required.
From zero. The STEM Farm Engineering Technology / CAD / Civil / Construction Tech track starts at zero-STEM intake and ends in this kind of work, with verified proof at every gate.

Engineering career path for veterans. A path has a start, a direction and a destination. The assessment gives the direction, the career pages the destination, and the STEM Farm track the start at zero. Engineering rewards practicality about what works in the real world, spatial reasoning about objects and forces, and collaboration inside large teams on hard deadlines. Service builds composure, meticulousness and collaboration on hard deadlines — three of the fifteen traits measured. See which careers run on what you already have.
